The HKLSS Summer Internship Program 2021 Opening Ceremony cum Visit to HKSTP was held successfully at HKSTP on 29 June 2021. The Society was pleased to have Mr Eugene Hsia, Chief Corporate Development Officer of HKSTP, to deliver a welcome address and Mr Vincent Cheung, Founder and Chairman of HKLSS, to deliver an opening remarks in the event.

Followed by a visit to HKSTP, the interns got a chance to visit the latest establishments of HKSTP, including the Inno Cell, Experience Centre, Biomedical Technology Support Centre and Centre for Eye and Vision Research, and learnt more about the programs and support HKSTP offers to the biotechnology sector in Hong Kong.

In the 2021 cohort, over 30 interns were selected to work in one of the 20 participating companies for the next 6 weeks. We wish all interns a wonderful internship journey this summer!
