Public Engagement

HKLSS's interns spent 18 months developing "The Scienctist's Brew" project. They took life sciences to the public through the launch of the two local brews, alongside different public engagement activities.

DNA is found in nearly all living cells. To highlight how DNA can be isolated from cells, our student instructors will demonstrate and guide participants to extract DNA from fruits using simple tools.

In this online "Origami DNA" Workshop, Prof Geneus leads participants to create a double helix DNA model through origami art and introduces the basic structure of DNA.
